The church where the children are staying is constructed of a dirt floor and drafty plastic walls which are very cold adding to the illnesses of the youngsters. They are currently sleeping on the dirt floor of the church on mats (heavy rugs) which were provided by donors. With the high cost of food in Ethiopia, the children often go without meals. But as you can see in the pictures, they are thankful for getting “tea” consisting of tea and bread, when a meal cannot be provided, and unfortunately that is often.

The ages of the children are estimated to be from 3 to 7 years old. Many do not know their age, and many cannot remember their own name. Please pray that God will provide an orphanage in Ethiopia to give these children who have lost so much, a home.
